What to do when your TWO best friends are Realtors and you’re ready to put your Tulsa home for sale on the market
You are ready to list your Tulsa home for sale and are stumped because your two best girlfriends are both Realtors. Obviously you need to trust your Tulsa home sale to the one that you consider to be the better-skilled Realtor and you may not even know which one that is!
Friends or no friends, you must separate business from personal and interview your girlfriends and perhaps another agent or two as well. If your friends are true professionals, they will understand your need to interview to make the best decision for your financial future.
What to do if both of your girlfriends are excellent Realtors and both give you an impressive presentation? Does one have a set of skills that the other lacks? Does one have more experience but is less internet savvy than the other?

If this is the situation you find yourself in, ask them to co-list. Co-listing is simply sharing a transaction 50/50, and is allowed if the two Realtors work for the same brokerage. If they work for separate brokerages (one is with ABC Realty and the other is with XYZ Realty), some will allow a co-listing. And if they are unable to co-list for any reason, one can refer to the other and they can both work together to sell your Tulsa home for sale.
Regardless, remember that you must make the best decision for you and your family. Do give your friends the opportunity to earn your business, but be brutally honest if they are not the Realtor you select to represent you. And remember that there are options available to share the listing and make the situation a win-win for all.
