It’s time for our very first social media Tulsa conference. Be there or be square.
If you live in Tulsa and don’t know Cheryl Lawson, you are truly missing out. Known to some as @Partyaficionado, Cheryl is founder, Head Elf and official cheerleader of Social Media Tulsa, founded June 25, 2010.
I first met Cheryl at a #SMTulsa Meetup at the Mayo Hotel where we mingled among other tweet geeks and peeps and talked about what we had in common. Cheryl has organized several meetups since and the enthusiasm among the growing group of Denizens is infectious.
Social Media Tulsa is a community that invites its members to gather and talk about the impact of Social Media on business, news, entertainment, sports, non profit, and any other topics that need to be discussed. Each month, we explore and promote the many fun and exciting companies and venues in and around the city of Tulsa.
Now Cheryl has decided it’s time for our very first social media Tulsa conference. Quite the over-achiever, she is. Cheryl is organizing social media thought leaders, internet marketers, PR specialists, mobile pioneers, and tech enthusiasts all in one place for an afternoon sharing knowledge, sparking ideas, and networking with the best from all walks of life.
The first Social Media Tulsa Conference is geared toward fostering knowledge and networking; thus ensuring a relevant and fresh exchange in the Tulsa social networking community. Haven’t heard of Social Media Tulsa? Now is your chance!
Cheryl kindly asked me to speak at one of the breakout sessions, and my topic is “Blogging for Business – Show Me the Money!” Although blogging is fun and therapeutic, you had better believe I’m in it for the money – I AM a Realtor, after all. So, if you’re interested, I’ll be talking about how my blogging efforts resulted in over 30% of my 2010 income and will share some tips on how blogging can increase your income too!!
Check out this action-packed agenda for the workshop and note that it begins and ends with food and drink. 🙂 After all, the girl knows how to throw a party!
