Today is Eat Street Tulsa, a Food Truck Festival in the historic Blue Dome District of downtown Tulsa! Hours are 11am to 10pm, so head to 2nd Street and Elgin Avenue to join in on the fun. It’s FREE to enter!
Food will include Mexican, Vietnames, Greek, Japaneze, hot dogs, pizza, tacos and tamales. Local vendors will sell their art and edibles. There will be live music, beer, and a Kid’s Zone with activities for the younger crowd.
A total of 15 trucks will be there to sell their cuisine. I understand someone will be selling donuts topped with bacon – yum!
Also there will be a hot dog eating contest hosted by the Dog House. Proceeds from the contest benefit Tulsa’s hungry with monies going to Iron Gate. Entry fee is only $30, and in addition to a lot of good hot dogs, you get a t-shirt from the event.
