Freddie’s Before and After Transformation
Kitchen Spotlight
We’ve all been in the position (some still are) where we have the opportunity or desire to renovate our kitchen. A big deterrent is budget, but it doesn’t always have to be. You can still get that kitchen you want, without having to spend all of your savings. It’s nice to see proof that it really can be done and Freddy did a great job proving that!
Freddy had quite the eyesore for a kitchen before he took matters into his own hands. A kitchen/dining room/living room filled with clutter and an unfortunate half divider that closed off the kitchen from the rest of the room. The space was outdated and not really functional for the home cook.
Freddy mentioned that he definitely had a budget that he needed to follow and it wasn’t big by any means. He used the budget wisely and removed the half divider to open up the kitchen and also added a window to provide additional light. He installed light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room to help make the space look larger and brighter.
The butcher block counter tops were a great addition as well. They too help to brighten the area and don’t weigh down the space. Plus, in a smaller kitchen they work great because you don’t really need an additional cutting board. The stainless steel appliances and accent pieces are a great accent.
