I don’t know whether Tulsa home buyers expect house-warming gifts, but sometimes I bring something to closing and sometimes I don’t. When working so closely with Buyers, constantly engaging and visiting during the home search process – nine times out of ten, a friendship will result.
If my clients have used every spare penny available to make the down-payment on a house, I might give them a gift certificate to a local grocery. If they enjoy art, I may give them a subscription to a local art museum.
My favorite gift to give is a personalized Deva from Garden Deva, a local iron sculpture. Lisa’s devas have good karma and I think it’s a good way to start someone off in their new home.
But, ultimately, the greatest house-warming gift I give to my clients (now friends) is ME.
And, I tell my clients,
My house-warming gift is that I come with the house. Any problems you have, I will help you solve – even if it’s five years down the road.
I am happy to say that most of my clients DO attend our July 4th celebration, which is a compilation of a celebration of our country’s birth and a big shout out of appreciation to my clients.
House-warming gifts for Tulsa home buyers
The rapport between Realtors and clients is an awesome thing. Although I enjoy ALL of my clients, there will be some I “connect” with more so than others. And when I see them a year or two after closing on their Tulsa dream home, it brightens my day and reminds me why I love selling real estate!
I often get invited to my client’s house-warming party and THAT is an awesome compliment. It’s always fun to see how they’ve personalized the home and made it their own.
