Home Buyers shop on internet sites of their choosing – some like Trulia or Zillow, while others like realtor.com or a specific brokerage web site.
I can set up a custom search for home buyers – and map specific geographic boundaries, which CAN’T be done on these other internet sites. Home Buyers are usually stuck searching by zip code or school district.
Midtown Tulsa home Buyers often want to search a mapped area, for example from Riverside to Harvard, 11th Street to 51st Street. Tell me the number of beds, baths and other criteria, and I’ll get you set up. Results are sent to a portal where you can view photos, make comments and ask questions. As new listings are added that meet your search criteria, they are added to your portal and you are notified by email. It’s totally automated.
This is the most accurate data a home buyer can ask for, as everything is coming directly from the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Often home buyers will send me a link to a home they found on Zillow – only to find out that it’s already under contract – and then they’re disappointed. Or they will send me a property that is bank-owned, and they won’t be able to use their FHA financing to purchase.
Home buyers should shop on internet sites of their choosing – so that the experience is comfortable and fun. However, try a custom search also and see how the two compare. If you just have to search on Zillow, please know that the information is not real-time, and listings already sold may show up in your search results.
I have a few midtown Tulsa searches already set up on my web site or you can try the advanced home search.
Also on my web site is a mortgage calculator, real estate glossary and a general description of home buyer closing costs – plus numerous blog posts with tips for home buyers – and a great explanation of earnest money.
Please call me if you are searching for homes in the greater Tulsa area – I’m happy to help you search AND show you around! 918-852-5036
