European Inspired Design
Inspired by the Italian Renaissance, the mansion embodies the European Eclectic style in Tulsa. Italian artisans hand-applied stucco containing ground marble dust to the exterior walls.
Italian artisans hand-glazed the mansion’s walls, meticulously crafting them to mimic the appearance of unfilled travertine marble. The original finish, dating back to 1919, remains intact, showcasing the exquisite artistry of the time. Circassian Walnut, sourced from trees authorized by special permission from King George V’s private forests, adorns much of the woodwork, including the heavily beamed ceilings. Colorful majolica tiles, imported from either Italy or Portugal, pave the floors of the sunroom, breakfast room, and library.
