Testimonials from Tulsa Home Sellers and Buyers – and why you should read them
After closing a real estate transaction, I send my client a survey asking what I could have done to make their real estate experience more positive, and I ask for a testimonial. I post testimonials from past clients on my web site and include them in my listing presentation. If there’s one thing we KNOW in real estate, satisfied clients will refer us to their friends and family, and referrals are the bread and butter of our business.
Now we have clients finding us on the internet who may not know much about us. Testimonials give them a good feel for how we conduct business by what is repeated throughout testimonials.
I receive consistent feedback that my services are professional and personable and that I am fun to work with.
I received this testimonial yesterday from Liz Mount. We sold her home so quickly that she and her husband are still staying in a hotel until they can close on their new home in another state. Liz typed out a lengthy testimonial and attached it to my survey with masking tape from one of her moving boxes – always resourceful!

I noticed that I have not updated my web site to include one client’s testimonial that his real estate experience was better than a root canal, but you would have to know this client’s sense of humor to know that it truly WAS a compliment – and we did sell his home the first week on market.
When asking for testimonials, I always ask permission to post them on my web site or use in any type of advertising. While I don’t post contact phone numbers, I am happy to provide them upon request.
