The Gathering Place is a special park in midtown Tulsa, located alongside the Arkansas River on Riverside Drive between 26th & 31st Streets, for now. It’s approximately 66 acres (to become 100 acres in the future) and provides fun for children, teens and adults.
There is much for children to do at the Gathering Place – slides, jungles, forts, swings, plenty of play equipment for the little ones. For the older kids, there are canoes, basketball courts and skateboarding surfaces. For the older folks, there are plenty of paths to walk or we can enjoy the boathouse, clubhouse while we watch the children play. There are plenty of rocking chairs and several inside areas for art displays. Currently there is fast food available, but a nicer restaurant is opening soon!
