Tulsa State Fair 2019
With your paid admission, you receive a free concert from some top-notch talent. Ben & Noel Haggard (the sons of music legend Merle Haggard) open up the fair with their concert on the Oklahoma Stage on September 26th. Each night brings someone new: Aaron Watson, Ginuwine, Lanco, For King & Country, Lovelytheband, Rival Sons, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Chris Janson, and Whiskey Myers. For the grand finale, La Fiera de Ojinaga and Banda La Pegsjosa de Guanajuato perform. If you want the royal treatment for any of these concerts, VIP tickets are available for sale.
In addition to music, you’ll find the usual fair events: educational exhibits, animal exhibits, midway games, and carnival rides. Watch the picking and fiddling championships. See Sarah the Cheese Lady carve out her masterpieces in cheese. You won’t want to miss the chainsaw carving. Play some cornhole. Visit the animal birthing center for your first look at baby farm animals. Then feed and pet some of the older animals in the petting zoo. Watch live dancers, acrobats, musicians, and magicians perform on stage daily. There are even high divers taking a plunge from high above the Expo. You’re definitely going to need to come back to see everything!
Tickets for the Fair
Purchase tickets at Expo Square’s box office whenever you go to the fair. Or buy them early and save a few bucks. Pick up four tickets at your local Quiktrip before you go and spend just $30. Or visit the Expo Ticket Xpress located on the southwest corner of Expo Square Pavilion. Pick up your single-day ride wristband for $45 (does not include fair admission).
If you plan on attending several days, buy a Mega Ride Pass for $70. This pass allows you to ride as many of the rides as you want as many times as you want for the entire 11 days of the fair. It also grants the wearer admission to the fair every single day. Take care of the wristband. It’s the only one you’ll receive for this year’s fair. Treat it well. These will only be sold on Expo grounds before and during the fair.
